You Make My <3 POP!.
And this was our fun discovery of the day:.Chris noticed the floorboards under the oldest part of the house while we were in the basement..
They look pretty interesting from here.I wonder how they’ll look from the top once we get all that peel and stick tile off of every. So you can see there are a lot of horrible, ugly, back-breaking problems that we’ll have to deal with all over this house, but to tell you the truth, I’m feeling pretty grateful for every one of them..As if having a beautiful country property on which to live out the rest of our days isn’t enough….
My mother-in-law has a little place right on the beach, just a short drive away from our new house..This is how we’ll spend our Summers.. How did we ever get so lucky?I’ve shared some of these photos on my old blog before, when we were going through the home inspection stage of buying our house, but I thought I might just show off a bit again for any newbies out there..
So this is where the magic will happen:.
The view from the back yard..I thought I’d start at the very beginning, a very good place to start, in the mudroom, where we usually enter the house..
I cheated a bunch in this room and reused a lot of the same elements as in my.It made the whole thing really easy to do though, and Kennedy helped out a lot, which she loved..
I use this same wreath every year because it’s pretty much the greatest wreath ever.It was one of the decorations from my work a few years ago which I took home at the end of the season.
